The hemoglobin A1c test tells you your average level of blood sugar over the past 2 to 3 months. It’s also called HbA1c, glycated hemoglobin test, and glycohemoglobin. People who have diabetes need this test regularly to see if their levels are staying within range. It can tell if you need to adjust your diabetes medicines. The A1c test is also used to diagnose diabetes.

About Us
With today’s widespread use of opioids, overuse has led to subsequent addictions and issues of safety and health concerns have increased. As a result, employers all over the country, have been forced to undertake stricter drug use control in the workplace. Statistics indicate that 70% of people with drug abuse issues are employed.
All Better Lab wishes to be the Harrisburg area’s best, economical and superior drug screening partner.
As with any difficult moment in our lives, we realize the first step in recovery is the acknowledgement of a problem.
With regular drug screenings, we believe, that individuals can rid themselves of the habit of using illegal drugs such as commonly available Marijuana.
All Better Lab understands the complexities of opioid abuse stemming from daily pain and do not judge one’s addictions. We wish everyone the best of health and happiness.
EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTING
WHAT TO EXPECT – When you visit us, you’ll be asked for your photo ID to verify your identity. For Pre Employment Drug Screening, including DOT, we will ask you to fill out the necessary documentation such as a consent/release/ form and begin your Chain of Custody Form. For accuracy, we use state of the art electronic custody forms. Next, you’ll be asked to empty your pockets and leave your belongings in our secured area, wash your hands and then be given a cup to provide us your urine specimen. The sample will be labeled and sealed in your presence with your initials confirming the above procedure. We are proud to provide results within 24-36 hours.
For employers, you’ll receive a copy of the chain of custody form (CCF) and also the detailed results from our laboratory. The Federal Government has taken the lead in protecting society by enacting strict standards for individuals which could cause harm if working under the influence of Opioids. This includes CDL tractor trailer drivers, airline pilots, train operators and many others. We are trained and compliant to perform DOT Compliant Drug Testing. Results are usually available within 24-36 hours for DOT Mandated tests as well. However, Positive results need to be verified by our Medical Review Officer before results are released.
